Welcome to the World Transformation Movement Athlone Centre, which has been established by Julie Parmenter, an extensively trained psychotherapist and counsellor, to promote and put into practice Australian biologist Jeremy Griffith’s ground-breaking explanation of our species’ psychosis, our human condition.

“I have always intuitively believed in the human race as a species of innate pure and good souls who have adapted survival patterns / behaviours due to anger and fear. I have always based the different therapy techniques I use on that premise. What is so exciting is that we now have the biological explanation for that original innocence and the reasoning of why that state became adapted and corrupted…For me Jeremy Griffith’s work transforms how psychology and psychotherapy should be taught and used.”— Julie

With her training and experience, Julie was uniquely placed to recognise what an extraordinary breakthrough Jeremy’s ‘instinct vs intellect’ explanation of the human condition is — it is therapy’s holy grail, the answer to all human suffering — and it will revolutionise the way psychological therapy will be practiced.

Julie Parmenter is an extensively trained psychotherapist, counsellor, and former physiotherapist, who holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney and a Post Graduate Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from the University of New England. She is the founder and owner of Athlone’s The Dancing Soul therapy centre, which has over 25 practitioners providing holistic treatments to enhance psychological and physical well-being.

  • “Jeremy Griffith is the ultimate psychotherapist, the psychotherapist for psychotherapists — in fact, all the great theories I have encountered in my lifetime of studies of psychiatry can be accounted for under his explanation of human origins and behavior.”

Dr Harry Prosen is a professor of psychiatry who has worked in the field for over 50 years, including chairing two departments of psychiatry and serving as a president of the Canadian Psychiatric Association.

Effective Therapy is Now Possible

With understanding of the human condition now found—the biological reason why we as a species have the propensity for both the greatest good and the cruellest evil of all living species — it finally becomes possible to provide Effective Psychological Therapy for all people, from adults to teenagers to children, because for the first time in history the source of all the upset in the human race has at last been compassionately understood. Whatever our particular story, we can now understand where life’s extreme imperfections came from, namely the great heroic but terribly upsetting battle to find knowledge that the human race has been involved in.

And further, with this underpinning explanation of the human condition, we are now in a position to fully utilise all the therapeutic techniques that humankind has developed while still searching for this explanation. As Professor Harry Prosen has stated, “one of the great things about Jeremy Griffith’s work is that it covers and includes all the great psychological and biological theorists in the whole world”, which means all the virtues and limitations of those theorists and their therapies can now be understood and properly and effectively absorbed into a holistic paradigm of treatment.
